Before 2 become 3

I was a little reluctant to do a maternity shoot, because I know how drastically a mother-to-be's body can change, and I didn't know how mine would change. But I also know that life will never be the same again after the little one arrives, and this is our last chance to keep a record of the days of just the two of us. This is also a very special time of our life together as husband and wife, full of excitement, a little anxiety, and a lot of anticipation. For me, pregnancy has been a journey of self-discovery, self-reflection and preparation, one that I would love to remember and share with my loved ones, especially the little one, in future.

We had a wonderful time working with the lovely husband and wife team from Orange Studios, Ryan and Wini. I'm no veteran in front of the camera, but from my limited professional experience I do know positivity is very important at a photoshoot, especially an outdoor one on a hot, humid day. Ryan and Wini were positive, understanding and encouraging from start to end, which helped me a lot as being heavily pregnant I struggled a little to keep the energy up, both physically and mentally. They also knew the shoot location well, so we didn't waste any time walking around and could go to various scenic spots without rushing. We were done within an hour, and while I went home feeling just a tad bit worried about how the pictures would turn out, I was confident in Ryan and Wini's expertise.

Turns out, my worries were unfounded! Here are some of my favourites from the shoot. :)
